Business Unit/Department: Instrumentation and Valves Services

Location: Lawrence, PA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assemble valve actuation packages
- Repair and assemble safety relief valves
- Disassemble, evaluate, rebuild and test Isolation and Control valves
- Troubleshoot electrical instrumentation components
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform work outdoors

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

- MUST have a minimum of a 2-year vocational or technical college degree OR a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment (automotive service experience preferred). Military experience in this or a related field will also be considered
- Proficient with mechanical tools and equipment
- Basic understanding of the operating principles, installation and maintenance of AC and DC electrical circuits
- Basic understanding of the operating principles, installation and maintenance of pneumatic circuits
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work any overtime required to complete an assignment (including weekend work when necessary)
- Ability to travel out of town and work in the field when required
- Personable and willing to interact professionally with gas industry customers
- Willing to work individually or as a team member
