This is a Student Co-op position located in Saginaw, MI. This position supports the design, and testing activities of the Power Pack Architecture and Core team.

Job Activities:

- Acquire, build, and test prototype parts including electric motors, sensors, controllers, circuit boards and wire harnesses

- Perform electrical tests involving any combination of electric motors, sensor, controllers, etc.

- Operate lab equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters

- Circuit schematic capture and updates

- Assisting engineers with project duties

- Develop electrical design skills that aid in circuit/schematic analysis

Requirements:

- Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw

- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering

- Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters

- Up to 40 in the summer

- Must have cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale

- Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters

- Candidate must have an interest in Electronics and Circuit design.

- Candidate must have growing knowledge and application of Electrical Engineering principles

- Candidate must have strong mathematical and analytic ability

- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- Candidate must have excellent Communication, Documentation Skills and attention to detail

- Candidate must have an understanding of typical electrical bench equipment (Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Multimeters, Soldering Equipment etc)

- Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship
