T&E/Accounts payable

Role and Responsibilities

- Process and verify vendor invoices and ensure payment accuracy.

- Enter and upload vendor invoices into various workflows/ ERP

- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice

- Handle account reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments.

- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

- Respond and resolve Users and Vendors inquiries

- Assist with month end closing

- Work in close collaboration with Accounts Payable Specialist for payment issues and propose actions to avoid them

- Recommend and implement process improvements.

- Perform controls following corporate procedures and compliance rules

Experience and Skills

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or in a relevant domain

- A first experience working in Accounts Payable process or in Accounting is preferred but not required

- Good command of Excel, SAP knowledge is a plus

- Analytical and organizational skills

- Customer -orientated with good level of problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and take initiative.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Fluent English (written and spoken), another language is a plus

What We Offer

- The Portuguese annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €11,280.00 for applicants who have completed or are completing a Bachelor's degree and €12,480.00 for applicants who have completed or are completing a Master's degree.
