- Lead Short-term Trading's SPP Markets+ readiness through go-live, including future-state strategies, workflows, controls, testing, training, and operational implementation.

- Serve as the team's business lead for LMP, load, and VER forecasting; bidding and optimization tools; and related analytical and decision-support capabilities.

- Partner with trading, scheduling, market strategy, operations planning, technology, vendors, and other stakeholders to define requirements, implement solutions, resolve issues, and continuously improve tools and processes.

- Lead and review daily market submissions, ensuring accuracy, alignment with approved strategy, and compliance with reliability, credit, trading, and risk parameters.

- Evaluate portfolio risks and develop strategies related to natural gas positioning, generation outages and return to service, virtual bidding, transmission congestion, and other market exposures.

- Provide direction to traders and schedulers by executing approved strategies and act within delegated authority when appropriate.

- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex trading, scheduling, market, analytical, operational, and risk issues.

- Operate as a lead trader and scheduler, provide desk coverage, and trade within authorized limits.

- Ensure accurate daily profit-and-loss analysis and develop data, models, metrics, and analyses that improve forecasts, strategies, and market performance.

- Lead training, cross-training, operating-procedure development, and knowledge sharing for traders and Generation Pre-Schedulers.
