Operations Supervisor - Stryker Model Farm Road

(Shift: Days: Mon - Thurs)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the production team to achieve targets across quality, service, cost and people development.
- Plan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitor production output, KPIs, rework, scrap and quality standards, taking action where required.
- Coach, train and support team members to build skills and achieve their potential.
- Provide regular feedback and address performance issues fairly, respectfully and promptly.
- Promote positive employee relations, engagement and open communication across the team.
- Work with Training to develop training plans and support employee development.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of Production Operators.
- Maintain high standards of GMP, 6S, housekeeping, health and safety.
- Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support process improvements and ensure quality standards and procedures are followed.
- Communicate team and business performance through regular meetings and daily engagement on the production floor.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
- Manage time and attendance, annual leave and overtime planning effectively.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

- Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar Discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience
- 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years minimum Supervisor experience..
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross functional team.
- Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
- Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitates individual and team engagement and development.
- Ability to coach, provide effective feedback and manage performance.

Ireland Pay Ranges: Ireland : €57,000 - €94,000 EUR Annual
