About this role
Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves being at the center of the action and driving business impact without carrying a direct sales quota. As the Manager, Field Planning & Execution, you'll serve as the operational quarterback for Insulet's commercial organization, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Training, Analytics, and leadership teams to turn strategic priorities into real-world execution. You'll lead cross-functional planning, manage high-visibility commercial pilots, gather and translate field insights into actionable recommendations, and help shape how future initiatives are scaled across the business. This role is ideal for a strong project manager and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, and wants the opportunity to directly improve the effectiveness of a national sales organization while helping bring innovative diabetes solutions to more patients. It's a unique chance to combine strategy, operations, analytics, and innovation while gaining broad exposure across Insulet's commercial leadership team.

- Facilitate recurring planning forums and publish concise decisions, actions, owners, and next steps.
- Maintain the roadmap of record, including timing, reach, dependencies, sustainment needs, and change impact, and coordinate with initiative owners to keep status current.
- Prepare analysis for planning discussions, including capacity risks and sequencing considerations.
- Contribute to prioritization criteria, effort scoring, and intake tools that keep planning decisions consistent and transparent for requesting teams.
Field Pilot Coordination and Execution

- Confirm roles, responsibilities, dependencies, and success measures with cross-functional owners before a pilot goes live.
- Surface execution barriers early and recommend solutions that protect customer experience, field capacity, and measurement quality.
- Keep pilot teams aligned on timelines, decisions, and open questions as scope evolves.
Field Insight and Advisory Input
- Coordinate with sales leadership and field sales teams to gather structured input on initiatives, pilots, and field-facing programs.
- Support field advisory forums, surveys, and other feedback channels, ensuring requests have clear objectives and are routed through the appropriate channel.
- Synthesize qualitative field feedback into concise themes, implications, and recommendations.
- Connect field learning to planning decisions, pilot design, operational improvements, and future commercial initiatives.
Measurement, Reporting and Recommendations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize measures, data requirements, reporting cadences, and qualitative feedback plans.
- Monitor progress against approved measures and surface data-quality, workflow, or role-overlap issues that could affect interpretation.
- Synthesize results, field feedback, customer experience, and commercial outcomes into clear recommendations to scale, adapt, combine, or stop an approach.
- Build readouts and decision materials for cross-functional partners and leadership.
Cross-Functional Ways of Working
- Lead day-to-day coordination across Field Marketing, HCP Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Sales Leadership, Training & Clinical Business, Global Sales & Clinical Training, Medical, Data Science and Insights, Sales Effectiveness, and Sales Operations teams.
