About this role

Please submit your CV in English in order to be considered for the role.

With 80,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the world’s largest fast-charging network. As we continue to expand our charging infrastructure, we are now hiring a Project Developer to continue to develop the Supercharger and Megacharger network by finding and acquiring the best locations in France. In your day-to-day activities, you will work on market research, business analysis, development of new business propositions, prospecting potential site hosts, pitching our proposition, negotiating, and closing deals.

- Develop and manage a pipeline of charging opportunities that will serve current and future Tesla customers in France
- Develop and refine proposals with property owners, grid operators, governmental bodies, and other key partners; negotiate win-win solutions and close deals
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience, cost efficiency, and timelines
- Work with legal counsel to draft, negotiate and close site host agreements
- Find, negotiate and execute multi-site deals and nurture relationships with key accounts
- Apply for national strategic tenders
- Manage complex land purchase deals

- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a commercial/business development role in the real estate, charging, or renewable energy industry
- Knowledgeable in all facets of the development process, including permitting, contractor selection, and construction implementation
- Entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset with the ability to find and act on opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with CRM software
- Willingness to travel extensively on a regular basis (3–4 days per week on average, including overnight stays)
- A valid driver's licence
- Fluency in English and French
