Senior Program Manager, Data Center PhysICS and OT Health
- On-site
- Full-time
About this role
The Infrastructure Development and Delivery (ID2) team designs, builds and operates gigawatts of reliable, efficient, flexible data centers around the world. Our data centers are the foundation of all Google services and infrastructure, from classic servers and networking to bespoke storage and advanced AI hardware. Google data centers lead the industry in efficiency and carbon footprint, and regularly introduce innovative new technologies and approaches for the ideal data center portfolio.
Google's Data Center Operations (DCOps) team acts as the stewards of the physical infrastructure that powers the world’s information. We operate the mechanical, electrical, and control systems that keep our servers running 24/7/365.
Data Center Central Ops is the global operational governance, engineering support, and business operations team, supporting efficient growth and operation of Google’s data center fleet.
As the Senior Program Manager for Data Center Physical Infrastructure Controls Security (PhysICS) and OT Health, you will lead the strategic operational programs keeping Infrastructure Development and Delivery (ID2) power and cooling engines running safely, securely, and reliably 24x7. You will be a People Manager responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a globally distributed team of senior Technical Program Managers, Program Managers, and Operations Engineers.
You will act as the principal strategic liaison between Central Operations, Plant Engineering, local site teams, and security governance organizations, including Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM), Operational Technology Security (OTS) and Cloud CISO Security Engineering (CCSE). Your mission is to define the strategic roadmap to verifiably reduce cybersecurity risk on mission-critical Infrastructure Controls Security (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT), effectively hardening standard OT environments against IT-based threats.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
