Cloud Security Incident Response Analyst Intern (Undergraduate - Summer 2027)

Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. This intern will assist the Cloud Incident Response Team in triaging cloud security alerts generated by Wiz.

Job Duties:

- Improve cross-cloud response and analysis and efficiency by supporting active threat hunting for overly permissive policies

- Work with our in-house detection engineers to help improve detections and tuning

- Support enrichment and contextual analysis of cloud alert investigations

- Validate runbooks and playbooks

- Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
- Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects

- Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry

- Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Complies with all policies and standards

Skills:

- Cloud Computing Knowledge in AWS and/or Azure
- Exposure to cybersecurity principles
- Self-starter
- Strong communication
- Curiosity and willingness to learn

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

Pay Range : $18.00-$26.00/hour
