Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

Responsibilities

An Undergraduate data analyst is needed for a project on personalized decision-making. This role will involve analysis of data from a large clinical trial. The overall objective is to compare approaches to combining factors to individualize treatment decisions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program majoring in statistics or closely related field.

- Knowledge of R and experience performing analyses in R.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.88 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
