Intern Product Engineer Role Profile

• Engineering Excellence: Proficient in programming languages with interest towards developing in tech stacks; interest in automation, root cause analysis and incident management

• Outcome Based Delivery: Interest in human-centered design thinking; strong written communication skills

• Strategic, Design & Systems Thinking: Interest in design principles like SOLID; bias towards designing for both functional and non-functional needs such as reliability, availability, scalability

• Impact & Influence: Demonstrates emotional intelligence, empathy for fellow engineers, and passionate about engineering.

Compensation: Hourly $30.00- $32.00

Intern Digital Product Manager Role Profile

• Consumer Journey Evangelism & Domain Knowledge: Interest in consumer-centric principles such as design thinking; interest in digital experiences and products

• Outcome-Based Iterative Delivery: Interest in participating in key ceremonies (such as Discovery & Framings, Iteration Planning Meetings, etc.); understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Design & Systems Thinking: Interest in applying new technology and adopting consumer trends to ensure modern and optimal digital experiences; creative problem-solving skills

• Impact & Influence: Strong emotional intelligence and written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: Hourly $30.00- $32.00

Allstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse. Employees eligible to work from home also receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.
