2027 Summer Intern Genomics, Computational Biology & Translational Data Science

Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Interns in Genomics, Computational Biology & Translational Data Science teams, including the Regeneron Genetics Center and Research data science groups. These teams use large-scale genetic, clinical, and molecular data — and machine learning — to find new drug targets, understand disease, and guide how medicines are developed.

When & where:

Location: Tarrytown, NY & Sleepy Hollow, NY

Timeframe: Our internship positions are full-time and onsite from May/June-August

Pay : Intern and Co-op pay ranges are determined by level of education (year in school) and degree program. The hourly rate range for these locations is: $17.90-$50.90 per hour.

What you'll do:

- Analyze real, large-scale biological data to uncover how genes, proteins, and health outcomes are connected.

- Projects may include genome-wide association studies using biobank data (such as UK Biobank), developing clinical and health-related phenotypes, analyzing biomarker and gene-expression data, building analysis pipelines and dashboards, applying deep learning to pathology images and DNA sequences, using AI tools for protein design, and evaluating data from digital health sensors.

- These are computational roles: expect programming, statistics, and presenting your findings to scientists.

- Programming in Python or R and some statistics are typically expected; genetics or biology coursework helps. Many projects are better suited to master's or PhD students.

- Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position)

- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
