- You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:

Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Learning Design, Instructional Systems, Learning Technologies, or Education, Engineering Technology Management, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering

- This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.

- Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.

- In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

- Spectrum’s Product and Technology team creates, develops, and operates the nation’s fastest mobile service, most reliable internet service, most viewed live TV app, and the most advanced WiFi, serving nearly 100 million users and 500 million devices. - Use AI to write code, troubleshoot issues and understand the logic

- Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible and tested appropriately.

- Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution.

- Implement new requirements within our Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

- Rising Seniors (Graduating date of December 2027 or May 2028)

- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree

- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program

- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program

- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

- Java, Node JS, RESt APIs, SQL
