Activities
- Works according to HSE requirements
- Gets from EPM & design leader all technical elements & parts necessary for first tuning actions (CAD data, gap and flushness requirements, surrounding parts, interfaces…)
- Keeps in touch with EPM and extended team, providing project follow up & raising issues when needed
- Attends trials with ITE in toolmaker plant
- Can work on several projects at the same time
- Checks and validates the quality / conformity of parts + assemblies
- Mock’up parts in toolmaker plant or any local area
- Insures traceability of parts + mock’ups
- Insures availability of first tuning means with his colleagues
- Writes first tuning reports with recommendations & conclusions, uploads data in PLM tools (KEOPS, …)
- Runs part of validation plan which can be done with local tools and subsystems (assembly forces, …)
- Looks for solutions and suggests technical proposals to EPM for project decision, respecting existing documents in PO network (design standards/PODS, lessons learnt, benchmark reports, first tuning documents, …)
- Liaises with the toolmaker together with the Injection & Tooling Engineer to optimize product design (according to tool and injection process feasibility).
- Executes the actions decided during project meetings and updates regularly the action plan
- Follow-up of budget and schedule for every project
- Consider perimeter changes after written validation from the EPM
- Participates to the study and means validation in case of specific tools needed
- Uses checking fixture, analyse measurements and propose improvements according to product first tuning
