Lenovo Digital Trust Lab seeks a hands-on and innovative DevOps Engineer to join our cutting-edge team. This role will support the large-scale cloud deployment of a new security system, building a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure capable of serving thousands of customers, processing large volumes of data, and supporting a complex, distributed architecture.
You will own the cloud infrastructure end-to-end, from architecture and infrastructure-as-code through CI/CD, observability, and security, and play a key role in taking the system from innovation to global production scale.
Job Responsibilities:
• Own the architecture, deployment, and operation of a multi-tenant cloud infrastructure designed to serve thousands of customers.
• Design and build infrastructure-as-code for reproducible, multi-region, multi-environment deployments.
• Build and operate container orchestration platforms for microservices, data pipelines, and AI/ML workloads, including autoscaling and resource isolation.
• Design and build CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for fast, safe and secure releases (progressive delivery, blue/green and canary deployments, automated rollback).
• Deploy and operate data infrastructure at scale: streaming/queuing, SQL/NoSQL databases, object storage, and caches, with high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Establish observability and SRE practices: monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, SLOs, incident response, and operational runbooks, while driving cost efficiency and capacity planning as customer usage and data volumes grow.
• Embed security into the infrastructure: identity and access management, network segmentation, secrets management, encryption in transit/at rest, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls, while mentoring engineers and partnering with development, research, and product teams to define infrastructure standards and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering roles, owning production cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS cloud provider, including networking, IAM, compute, and managed data services, with a solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing, virtual networks, zero trust).
• Expert-level experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in production environments, with proven experience in infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (e.g., Terraform, Argo CD/Flux).
• Experience operating distributed data systems (streaming/queuing, SQL/NoSQL databases, data lakes /warehouses) with high availability and disaster recovery, along with hands-on experience with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry).
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience deploying and operating a multi-tenant SaaS product, preferably in the security domain, with experience in MLOps and serving AI/ML/LLM workloads (Bedrock).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and cloud security posture management.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud deployments, along with relevant certifications (e.g., CKA/CKS, AWS/Azure/GCP professional level).
What Lenovo Can Offer You:
• Opportunities for career advancement and personal growth
• Access to a diverse range of training programs to sharpen your skills
• Performance-based rewards that celebrate your achievements
• Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid setup: 3 days connecting with the team in the office and 2 days working from the comfort of your home
Please note that the office is located at 121 Menachem Begin Road, Tel Aviv, 61st floor, in the POINT office complex. As per our office policy, you will be required to visit the site at least 3 times a week.
